Bio

I am Wilco Visser, an ISTQB-certified Agile Test Engineer with 15 years of experience delivering high-quality software. Throughout my career, I’ve consistently approached testing from the end-user’s perspective. But for me, it never stopped at just finding bugs — I’ve always been eager to go one step further, suggesting creative improvements that enhance both products and processes.

At my most recent assignment, colleagues regularly described me as “more than a tester.” This inspired me to officially expand my role and earn my Scrum Product Owner certification.

Building value-driven software starts with understanding why we’re building something and enjoying the process together as a team. I naturally take a leading role in the delivery process and enjoy building bridges between stakeholders, developers, and end-users to create and deliver software that helps businesses thrive.
I automate repetitive tasks, aim for pragmatic solutions, and help to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery process.

My Experiences

Working in The Netherlands and abroad for global brands like Transavia, Vodafone, and T-Mobile has taught me to quickly adapt to new environments and thrive in fast-paced delivery teams.
My broad project experience spans industries such as aviation, telecom, mortgages, ticketing, football and more. I have contributed to (mobile) applications for clients like Transavia, Heineken, Ajax, Delta, and VodafoneZiggo. My Skills

I am an ISTQB certified Test Engineer and a Certified Professional Scrum Product Owner. I also posses a Professional Agile Leadership (PAL I) certificate. I have experience managing and setting up test strategies and setting up Test Automation projects. I worked with BSS/OSS systems, APIs, Mobile/Web Applications and have played pivotal roles in startups, data migration, upgrade projects and more.
